Sundowners

“Sundowners” from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

“A Sundowner, in colloquial British English, is an alcoholic drink taken after completing the day’s work, usually at sundown”

Coronium initiated and co-ordinates a regular Solar PV industry get-together, as informal networking over a drink is a great way to meet and share ideas.

Next “Sundowners”: August 2018

For all those new to “Sundowners”, here is some further information:

Background:

Sundowners is an informal event for “Utility Scale” Solar PV with the intention to:

  • Meet once every 4-6 months (currently Sydney based)
  • Mid-week 5.30 – 7.30pm
  • Date and location to be decided amongst participants
  • Open to all in the industry (Utility Solar PV)
  • Democratically operated
  • Not a sales pitch event
  • Everyone buys their own “Sundowners”

From the suggestions we receive from participants, we will co-ordinate the date and venue for each “Sundowners” get-together, and then the rest is up to you…

The inaugural “Sundowners” took place in 2012, and has since been followed by many successful get-togethers.
